Alateen Day, Alateen Outreach, and Membership Request - Saturday, April 16th from 9AM-10PM

Dear Al-Anon and Alateen Members, Please take some time to review and spread the word about the attached documents concerning:

As you may be aware, in conversations of the circles of the Alateen program in general, there has been a consensus of dismal or non-existent participation. NOW IS OUR TIME TO ACT!! Our teens and children need our help! Please join us in spreading the word for a regional outreach effort and to support and encourage the program of Alateen.

As a kick start to this effort we are utilizing Alateen Day at the San Diego Spring Round Up conference, (https://rcs.squaredroot.net/convention/view/3), as a very special upcoming event to provide public exposure and awareness for the Alateen program. This will be a full day of fun and outreach activities including an open house and panel discussion for members and the public, topic and beginners meetings, music, games, social hour, snacks, and more!! Lots of Al-Anon meetings and recovery are also available at the conference.

We hope you will make every effort to attend this event and especially to bring some Alateens, prospects or newcomers! COME FOR THE DAY or COME FOR THE WEEKEND!! Great rates are available for lodging at the location, and of course, you are coming to San Diego which has lots of sunshine, many amenities, parks and beaches.

Feel free to utilize any of these attachments in printing, reading or distributing this message in any part to provide awareness at your meetings and in your districts. All Alateens will need to register and complete the attached permission form for presentation at the event.

ONLY A COUPLE OF WEEKS LEFT, SO PLEASE..... SPREAD THE WORD RIGHT AWAY FOR THIS NOTEWORHTY CAUSE!

Respectfully,

Ron P
