Carpinteria Alateen Sponsor Needed
Dorene has been a dedicated, wonderful sponsor for this meeting which started up 2 years ago- THANK YOU DORENE FOR YOUR SERVICE!!! June 8th will be Dorene's last day as sponsor - so we really need to get the word out to find someone ASAP to step in as a sponsor and/or fill in on occasion for this meeting. This is a wonderful service opportunity - as it is so fulfilling to bring Alateen to teens. Being an Alateen sponsor means you will be at the weekly meetings to set up, welcome teens, and help facilitate the meeting (following the Al-Anon/Alateen format). Also, if you - or any Al-Anon member is interested, but not sure - we welcome you to come to an Alateen meeting to check it out - and see if it feels right for you. Just let us know in advance if you'll be coming to a meeting (downtown Tuesdays 6:15 - 7:15 PM or Carpinteria Wednesdays 4:00 - 5:00 PM). Also, we welcome you to be a substitute if you are not able to commit to being there every week.
